Isobel Findlay

Pathways to Equity Co-Chair

Dr. Isobel M. Findlay (M.A. Aberdeen, M.A. Sask, Ph.D. McGill) is a professor emerita, Department of Management and Marketing, and Fellow in Co-operatives, Diversity, and Sustainable Development, Centre for the Study of Co-operatives, University of Saskatchewan. An active member of CUISR since 2003 and associate member of the Council for the Advancement of Native Development Officers (CANDO), she is committed to interdisciplinary, intercultural, and intersectoral community-based research on Indigenous and associative organizations, partnerships and participation, diversity in the workplace, disability policy, corporate social responsibility, performance indicators and reporting standards, housing and homelessness, quality of life, community entrepreneurship, sustainable development, and Indigenous law and justice. A proud recipient of a University of Saskatchewan Students' Union Teaching Excellence Award, she is also co-winner of the Saskatchewan Book Awards Scholarly Writing Award, 2000.
